James has been a key figure in the European electronic music scene for over a decade. He gained wider recognition with his Ball & Chain EP in 2015, leading to releases on labels like Feel My Bicep, Analogical Force, and Craigie Knowes. His debut album Vital Heat (2018) showcased his range beyond the dancefloor, while tracks like Ekko and Poppin received heavy DJ support from artists like Bicep and Helena Hauff. In 2024, he launched Shinra Electro Company, with its debut EP becoming his best-selling Bandcamp release. His second album Meteorites was for released in early 2025.
